Fraud prevention event happening March 15 at downtown library

The Alberta Community Crime Prevention Association is hosting a free public event in Red Deer on March 15 as part of Fraud Prevention Month.

Organizations taking part include, but are not limited to: Red Deer RCMP, Real Estate Council of Alberta, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Blue Cross, John Howard Society, Family Services of Central Alberta, Central Alberta Crime Prevention Centre and Royal Bank.

The event runs from nine to noon at the Red Deer Public Library – downtown branch, in the theatre room.

There will be snacks, and more importantly, discussion around fraud prevention, and a chance to visit several booths.
