Alberta Sports Hall of Fame members receive QEII Jubilee medals

Several honoured members of the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame (ASHoF) received Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medals for Sport recently.

An approximate 70,000 of the medals are being given to Albertans this year to mark the Queen’s 70-year reign.

Ceremonies were recently held in Lethbridge, Calgary and Red Deer, with 12 ASHoF members being honoured out of the 49 total sport medal recipients.
