Ponoka RCMP respond to collision with pedestrian

One person is in hospital following a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian in Ponoka this week.

On Nov. 21, 2022, at 5:14 p.m., Ponoka RCMP received reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and vehicle near Highway 53 and 67 Street in Ponoka.

Mounties say a victim with what appeared to be serious injuries was identified and taken to hospital by STARS and is currently in stable condition.

Ponoka RCMP along with an RCMP collision analyst continue to investigate the circumstances around this incident.
