34 years in, Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre providing critical help
For 34 years, the Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre has been offering area residents with pre and post-natal services from its home base in Red Deer.
Executive Director Lisa Smith says the organization’s recent banquet went well, with over 400 people in attendance. The dinner was their first event since before COVID.
It served in one aspect as an awareness tool to get the word out about the CAPCC’s services, which are also offered out of satellite offices in Olds, Rocky Mountain House, Stettler and Drumheller.
“Some clients we only see once, while others stay with us for several months doing our parenting or healthy relationship programs, or even our post-abortion recovery education program,” says Smith.
