Planned power outage scheduled in Ponoka for routine electrical maintenance

A planned power outage is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (weather dependent) in the Town of Ponoka.

Town officials say the outage is planned in the Riverside neighbourhood as crews conduct routine electrical maintenance for residents who live in the following areas:

• North of 50 Avenue, west of 38 Street, south east of 46 Street and east of 42A Street;
• South of 50 Avenue, north of 48 Avenue, between 43 Street and 38 Street;
• South of 48 Avenue, north of 42 Avenue, between 45 Street and 43 Street;
• South of 48 Avenue, north of 40 Avenue, east of 43 Street along 42 Street Close, 41 Street Close and 40 Street.
• East of 38 Street, north of Highway 53 and south of 51 Avenue Close.
