COVID numbers continue falling across the board in Alberta

The province has released its latest weekly report on COVID-19. The numbers reported in this update reflect data from July 5-11, 2022.

During that time, 1,361 cases were confirmed across the province for a daily average of 194.

7,525 tests were completed over the last week, meaning the positivity rate was approximately 18 per cent.

Provincially, 552 patients are currently hospitalized with COVID including 16 who have been admitted to intensive care. This marks decreases of 16 for hospitalizations and six for ICU compared to last week’s report.
