Jun 23, 2022 | 12:48 PM

A two week jury trial has been scheduled for a man accused in the death of his girlfriend last year, a young mother from Bowden.

Ross Arran McInnes, 28, also of Bowden, is scheduled for trial from March 6-17, 2023 in Calgary Court of Queen’s Bench.

He was previously scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Calgary this week to determine if his case had enough evidence to go to trial or not.

McInnes is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 25-year-old Kirsten O’Donoghue (Gardner) who was found dead in her Bowden apartment on March 22, 2021.
