Sylvan Lake RCMP respond to collision, charges laid

A Lacombe man is facing charges following a head-on collision near Sylvan Lake last month.

On April 22, 2022 at 10:17 p.m., Sylvan Lake RCMP received a complaint of a collision on Highway 11 and range Road 20.

The investigation has revealed that a White Ford F150 drove into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Blue Jeep Wrangler. Mounties say the driver of the F150 sustained minor injuries, while the four occupants of the jeep were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP have charged the driver of the Ford F150, Cameron Elias Griffiths, 23, of Lacombe with dangerous driving causing bodily harm, and obstruction.
