Downtown assault suspects sought by Red Deer RCMP

Red Deer RCMP are seeking two suspects in connection to an alleged assault which took place earlier this month.

Mounties say it was about 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 9 when, it’s believed, that a man was assaulted outside The Gent’s Club downtown. The victim was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, and then released.

Limited information is available, police acknowledge, however the following descriptions are being released in an attempt to identify the suspects.

Suspect 1:

• Caucasian male
• 18-22 years old
• Short hair
• 6 feet tall
• Wearing a grey jacket with blue shirt underneath

After the incident, the two men were seen heading eastbound, police say.
