Rebels to sport commemorative jerseys for Alumni Night

The Red Deer Rebels are throwing it back for Alumni Night this Friday.
Presented by ATB, the Rebels will be wearing commemorative jerseys celebrating the team’s 30th season in the Western Hockey League, as they play against the Lethbridge Hurricanes on April 8 at 7 p.m. at the Peavey Mart Centrium.
The jerseys are a replica of the original white, black, and silver jerseys the Rebels wore from their inaugural season in 1992-93 through to 1996-97.
Starting Wednesday, the jerseys will be available for purchase through an online auction in support of the Rebels Foundation for Education and Wellness. A link to the silent auction will be posted on the Rebels website.
