Feb 21, 2022 | 8:06 PM
Meteorologists with Environment Canada say extreme wind chill values near -40 are expected tonight.
However, conditions are expected to improve on Wednesday.
Residents are reminded to watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.
You’re also encouraged to dress warmly and in layers that you can remove if you get too warm. The outer layer should be wind resistant.
