Red Deer RCMP seize 450 feet of copper wire

Charges are pending after Red Deer RCMP seized a large amount of copper wire this week.

On Dec.19, Red Deer RCMP began investigating a related stolen vehicle and a break-in to a garage. On Dec.20, members executed a search warrant at a home on 47 Street.

As a result, RCMP seized close to 450 feet of copper wiren cut into four-foot sections. The wire is believed to be General Cable BICC Brand MI 3 Conductor #3/0 Copper 1000V.

Red Deer RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the owners of this wire.
