One dead, another injured in small plane crash northeast of Lacombe
One person is dead and another injured after a small plane crash northeast of Lacombe Saturday afternoon.
On Oct. 9, at approximately 4:45 pm, Blackfalds RCMP responded to a distress beacon from an aircraft.
Mounties say a downed plane was located in a remote and rural area, near the intersection of Range Road 241 and Township Road 412 (Gadsby Lake Rd), northwest of Tees.
Police say there were two occupants of the small plane. The male pilot was located deceased at the scene.
