Police arrest two, seize loaded shotgun at Sundre motel
A woman from Red Deer and another person are facing numerous charges after an incident earlier this month.
On Sept. 2, members from the Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Team, as well as Didsbury and Sundre RCMP, located a truck that had fled from police the previous day at a Sundre motel.
Investigation determined that the female and male associated with the truck had used a stolen AB drivers licence to check into the motel. They were arrested without incident upon exiting the motel.
During a search warrant of their motel room, police located stolen ID, a stolen credit card, ammunition and a loaded sawed-off shotgun.
