Significant rainfall for central Alberta Monday

A slow-moving low pressure system brought large amounts of rain to many parts of central Alberta on Monday and even some snow to higher elevations.
Unofficially, meteorologists with Environment Canada say Red Deer received 66.4 millimetres of rain as of 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
Elsewhere throughout the region, Prentiss saw 61.2 mm, Nordegg 53.6 mm, Lacombe 52.1 mm, Delburne 50.2 mm, Rocky Mountain House 49.0 mm, Breton 46.7 mm, Wetaskiwin 39.2 mm, and Three Hills 26.8 mm.
