Fire restriction lifted for Red Deer County

Previous fire restrictions in place for Red Deer County have now been lifted.

County officials say permits are now available online at rdcounty.ca/fire. You’re asked to set-up your account to obtain your burn permit and then call 587-802-9978 to activate your permit.

A reminder that fire permits are required for all open fires within Red Deer County.

Fire Services will continue to monitor weather patterns. Should hot and windy conditions return, another ban or restriction may be put in to place.
