June 16

7:06 p.m. – Brazeau County – Bear Lake area – Complainant reporting trespassers on a rural property. Members attended, suspects gone. Under investigation

9:47 p.m. – Brazeau County – Dam area – Complainant reported a suspicious truck around the campground. Plate numbers provided but none matched the truck as described. Member patrolled but the suspicious truck was not located

June 17

12:26 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Industrial Road – Complainant reported drug activity at the Econorest. Wished to provide information to police on these activities but refused to provide any contact information. Possibly future information to be sent telepathically (?). Police are aware of the activities of some people at this location

1:48 a.m. – Brazeau County – RR90 – Members responded to a hangup 911 call, determined a domestic incident had occurred. Potential victim refused to provide a statement or evidence, no charges at this time

5:28 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Ave/54 St – Complainant called to report concerns about a male in a white GMC possibly stalking her. This male is constantly calling her names and trying to have her dogs fight his dogs. Caller well known to police, under investigation

9:27 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50A Street – False alarm, police were cancelled prior to attendance.

10:40 a.m. – Brazeau County – Poplar Ridge Trailer Court – Collision between a vehicle and another parked vehicle. No injuries.

12:12 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Police observed a male wanted out of Red Deer RCMP. Members arrested the male and upon searching him located a prohibited weapon on him (brass knuckles). 54-year-old Elroy Beek of Drayton Valley was charged for possession of a prohibited weapon as well as his outstanding warrants and was held for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, where he was released for court on July 20, 2021 in Drayton Valley.

6:22 p.m. – Brazeau County – Twp 514 – Report of a possible impaired driver. Police attended the area, but were unable to locate a vehicle matching the description provided.

6:40 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Call of an erratic driver. Police located the vehicle in the Fountain Tire parking lot, the vehicle had a tire issue which was getting looked at.

6:42 p.m. – Brazeau County – RR 83 – Call of an abandoned trailer, ongoing calls regarding the same matter.

8:37 p.m. – Brazeau County – RR 73 – Police were tasked to conduct a quarantine check on a recent traveller from out of country. The person was home and was provided with some additional information as they had questions regarding the quarantine.

10:23 p.m. – Brazeau County – Twp 492 – Police were called to keep the peace with a confrontation at a residence.

11:33 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Noise complaint, member attended and asked they turn down the music, they did.

June 18

7:05 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of a homeless person sleeping in the vestibule of a bank. Member attended and asked them to leave.

10:43 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – 2 vehicle collision, no injuries.

1:55 p.m. – Parkland County – Twp 512 – Suspicious activity at a residence, police attended, nothing criminal found.

2:50 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver charged with possession of controlled substance.

3:03 p.m. – Brazeau County – Twp 514 – Collision between a vehicle and a deer.

3:12 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting an individual keeps calling the store harassing the employees. Matter is still under investigation.

4:40 p.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Police located a stolen vehicle driving on the highway which fled from police. A tire deflation device was successfully deployed and after further attempts to flee down back roads, the vehicle eventually lost control in to the ditch. 26-year-old, Tyrisha Hudson, of Drayton Valley was arrested and charged with: Flight from a Peace Officer, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000, Mischief under $5000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000, 2x Failing to Comply with Conditions of a Release Order, and several provincial driving offences. Hudson was held for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, where she was released on $1000 cash bail for court in Drayton Valley on July 6, 2021.

4:42 p.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of an abandoned vehicle on a camping site, police were tied up with another matter and unable to attend, once attendance was made the vehicle was no longer there.

5:23 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Madsen Avenue – 911 hang-up from the hospital, no emergency, common issue.

7:05 p.m. – Brazeau County – RR 81 – Report of a lock cut on a gate, 2 vehicles seen on camera but unable to obtain plates. Nothing was stolen, patrols made, vehicles not seen in the area.

11:14 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complaint of fireworks. Grad class had permit to set off the fireworks, no issues.

June 19

11:07 a.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Driving complaint, police located the vehicle, ticket issued.

12:23 p.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Driving complaint, vehicle located parked at a residence, no evidence to support charges, driver warned.

1:42 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – 2 vehicle collision, no injuries.

3:06 p.m. – Brazeau County – Twp 502 – Single vehicle rollover. Police attended, driver taken to hospital as a precaution with believed to be minor injuries.

8:52 p.m. – Brazeau County – Blue Rapids – Report of 2 missing people. Police attended, but the 2 had already returned back to their camp site.

9:47 p.m. – Drayton Valley – RCMP Detachment – A male wanted out of British Columbia attended the detachment to turn himself in. The male was held for a hearing with a request to be remanded in to custody in order to be transported back to British Columbia.

10:49 p.m. – Brazeau county – Complaint received of a dispute. Ex has showed up several times at residence. Members attended, no one present. Ex had showed up at residence to pick up vehi cle, then left. No offence.

June 20

2:23 a.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report of a collision between a vehicle and a moose, the vehicle is unoccupied. Police attended and removed the animal from the roadway.

3:44 a.m. – Cynthia – Complainant reporting that there are two individuals broken down on the side of the Highway. Members attended, one of the individuals was arrested on outstanding warrants. Vehicle towed, no valid registration.

4:10 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting male stole signs off the patio. Male is wearing a hoody, jeans and is on a dark coloured BMX bike. Member attended, male was gone prior to arrival.

9:49 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting a female wearing a brown jacket with hood and baseball cap is kicking in the windows of business. Members attended, known female arrested and charged with mischief.

12:05 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 45 Street – Complainant reporting they were assaulted 4 days ago. Matter is still under investigation.

12:28 p.m. – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a deceased moose is blocking the road. Matter had been dealt with previously.

4:37 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Complainant reporting shoplifting.

7:04 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting an intoxicated driver in a silver GMC pickup. 2 male occupants. Patrols made, vehicle not located.

7:31 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a disturbance. Members attended the residence, no issues. Incident had involved a spider

7:45 p.m. – Brazeau Dam – Several complaints received regarding intoxicated individuals shooting off guns by the river. Members attended and seized all the guns,.

9:13 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a suspicious person checking out vehicles. Members attended the area and made patrols. Individual not located.

10:52 p.m. – Brazeau county – RR 71 – Complainant reporting a collision, air bags had gone off. Member attended, no collision, air bags had randomly gone off.

11:56 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting group of individuals going into the teepee with pants down. Member attended and all were wearing pants. Individuals were given a stern warning.

June 21

7:16 a.m. – Brazeau county – 911 hangup received. Members attended. No emergency.

11:08 a.m. – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a black Ford Expedition is driving erratically. Members patrolled the area and located the vehicle. Driver was warned about their manner of driving.

11:44 a.m. – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reported they were southbound on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with the drivers side of their vehicle.

11:47 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Holy Trinity parking lot – Complainant reporting dangerous drivers at the school. Complainant states that kids from the school are stunting and driving dangerously. Suspect vehicles are a black cavalier or mustang and black ford fusion. Members patrolled area, suspect vehicles not located.

1:39 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant was stopped at an intersection. A truck and trailer pulled up beside and turned, the rear of the trailer scraped the side of the complainants vehicle.

2:12 p.m. – Brazeau county – RR 81 – Complainant reported they were travelling south on RR 81 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.

2:18 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 67 Street – Complainant reporting break into two vehicles. Sliding rear windows were broken and the ignition had been tampered with.

3:17 P.M. – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting an erratic driver. Vehicle is crossing over the yellow line into oncoming traffic. Vehicle is a white truck. Vehicle not located.

4:09 p.m. – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting a dangerous school bus driver eastbound on Twp Rd 514. Bus is all over the road and almost went through a stop sign.

9:01 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Dog Park – Complainant reporting a suspicious male going around the bush and shaking the bushes. Members attended and conducted foot patrols in the area, male not located.

9:19 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – 911 hangup received. Member attended area of call and spoke with individuals in the area. Nothing out of the ordinary.

9:53 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle with 2 female occupants. Vehicle is a dark Chevrolet Avalanche with hood up. Member patrolled the area, vehicle had left prior to arrival.

10:02 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Complainant reporting missing male. Male, Derek Henningsmoen had last been seen about 1p.m. that day. Has not been heard from since. Members conducted extensive patrols, however Henningsmoen was not located.

June 22

1:11 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting suspicious persons trespassing. Female with orange had and a male wearing all black are knocking on doors in the apartment complex trying to get in. Complainant confronted them and they left. Member patrolled the area, however individuals were not located.

2:09 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainant attended detachment to complain about harassing communication from landlord. Member viewed text messages, however they did not meet the criteria of harassment.

5:45 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant requesting a wellness check on female. Wearing all black and not wearing shoes. Stated that they were trying to get away. Members attended area, female not located.

8:03 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting theft of lawn mower. Lawn mower is a black mastercraft push mower.

11:58 a.m. – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting they were northbound on RR 84 when a moose came out of the ditch and collided with the driver side of the vehicle.

12:11 p.m. – Brazeau county – Complainant stated they were canoeing on the North Saskatchewan when they capsized. Complainant lost all hear including wallet with credit cards, drivers licence.

12:44 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Meier Avenue – Residential alarm received. Member attended, false alarm, resident was changing the batteries.

1:19 p.m. – Brazeau County – Complainant called to report they were being held against their will. Members are well aware of complainant who suffers from mental health issues. Members attended and spoke with complainant who was not being held.

2:08 p.m. – Brazeau county – Hwy 39 – Complainant advised they were westbound when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with the front corner of vehicle.

2:20 p.m. – Brazeau county – RR 81 – Complainant reporting their dog ran away and a short time later they heard gun shots. Complainant called back shortly after to advise their dog came back.

2:45 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 42 Street – Complainant reporting a hit and run. Damage to their red Kia Optima.

4:15 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting female shoplifter. Female is known. Matter is still under investigation.

7:21 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 20 Avenue – Complainant reporting a intoxicated individual in a gold Grand Prix. Member patrolled the area with negative results.

7:47 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket.

8:03 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Complainant reporting they had been locked in the Valley Concrete gravel pits. Members attended, Complainant had been let out. Complainant warned about trespassing.

8:36 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a male had lit a fire with some lumber from a deck. Male was attempting to put out the fire with a hose.

10:21 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Complainant reporting they found a shopping cart on their lawn and wanted police to remove it.

10:39 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting an assault. Unwanted male. Complainant told them to leave which they did.

11:28 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting 2 males are chasing him and trying to fight him. No physical altercation tonight. Suspects are blocking complainants truck. Suspects are driving a grey dodge Dakota. Members attended location and complainant stated that the truck tried to hit him and he confronted them and then the suspects wanted to fight.

June 23

2:44 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting they had been assaulted by several males. Members had been in area at the time and did not hear any noise. Members attended complainants residence, however would not answer the door.

8:37 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Request to conduct a wellbeing check on female who was to be picked up this morning, however is not answering door or phone. Members attended, female located . No issues.

9:54 a.m. – Brazeau County – RR 53 – Complainant reporting a fraud. Complainant transferred $500 in June to a man after ordering some items from a boat dock committee. Matter is under investigation.

10:48 a.m. – Cynthia – Complainant is requesting members attend as they are changing the tire on a semi and motorists are not slowing down. Brazeau County Peace Officer attended and conducted traffic control.

1:56 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant calling to report a collision. Complainant’s vehicle was rear ended by a new unexperienced driver.

3:35 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a hot dog in a vehicle. Dog is howling and in distress. Members attended, vehicle had left prior to arrival. Owner of vehicle contacted and warned.

4:02 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – Complainant reporting their son was assaulted the previous evening. Wanted members to check on him to ensure he was ok. Members attended and spoke with son who was not cooperative and stated they were fine.

5:33 p.m. – Parkland county – Complainant reporting fencing staples on the highway. Member attended and swept the highway.

6:31 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting they found a shoe that belongs to the missing person Derek Henningsmoer. Member attended and helped search the area again.

6:48 p.m. – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting an erratic driver. Black Chevrolet truck towing a horse trailer has passed several vehicles on solid line. Members patrolled the area, vehicle and trailer not located.

9:01 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Canadian Tire. Complainant reporting finding suspicious items in the bush. Tarps, garbage and pillow laid out in the bush. Members attended, no one located.

9:50 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – Complainant reporting known male is in a property they own. Has trashed the place, ripped out the plumbing. Member attended, no sign of intentional damage. Landlord Tenant issue and landlord needs to go through proper channels in order to evict male.

11:53 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reported a disturbance. Men are outside in the parking lot yelling at each other. Members attended and located one male who had been hit in the head. EMS attended. Other male was gone upon arrival. Members searched the area for other male. Matter is still under investigation.

June 24

1:17 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 56 Street – Complainant reporting a disturbance. Members attended and located individuals who had been partying. One of the individuals had smashed the window of their own vehicle.
