Rebels pre-season schedule announced

The Western Hockey League announced its 2021-22 Pre-season schedule on Monday.

The Red Deer Rebels will play a total of five tune-up games starting Sept. 11 when they visit the Edmonton Oil Kings.

The Rebels will play two pre-season games at the Westerner Park Centrium on Sept. 17 versus the Calgary Hitmen and Sept. 25 versus the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Details on how fans can attend these games will be announced at a later date.

Red Deer will visit the Siksika Deerfoot Sportsplex at Siksika Nation when they take on the Hitmen on Sept. 18.

The Rebels 2021-22 Regular Season full schedule will be announced later. They open the season Friday, Oct. 1 at Edmonton and will host the Oil Kings the following night for their home opener.
