Red Deer’s active COVID-19 case count drops to 703
Red Deer’s active COVID-19 case count has dropped by 57 to 703 on Sunday – a nearly 23 per cent decrease from the record high of 911 set on Saturday, May 8.
According to Alberta Health, the city’s active case rate per 100K is now 660.7.
Recoveries in Red Deer climbed by 97 on Sunday to 4,546 while the number of COVID-19 cases identified in the city since the start of the pandemic has reached 5,287 – an increase of 40.
The number of deaths in Red Deer due to COVID-19 remains unchanged at 38.
