Peavey Mart breaks ground on new ‘flagship’ Red Deer location

Construction is officially underway for Peavey mart’s new flagship store in south Red Deer.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the project was held on Monday at 2810 Gaetz Avenue, where the 40,000-square-foot store will be located.

Company officials for Canada’s largest farm and ranch retailer say the new store should be open by the second quarter of 2022.

The Red Deer-based company says the new location will allow for better entry and exit access, easier loading of large items on trucks and trailers plus improved, safer flow of parking lot traffic.
