Sylvan Lake budget includes 0% municipal tax rate increase

The Town of Sylvan Lake has approved the 2021 Municipal Budget.

For the second year in a row, the budget includes a 0% municipal tax rate increase for both residential and non-residential properties

Other budget highlights include no utility rate or franchise fee increase, increased visitor pay parking fees for the 2021 Visitor Pay Parking Program, introduction of an online Citizen Portal, and a continuation of the Skate Park Ambassador Program that town officials say was a successful pilot project late last summer/fall.
