Rocky RCMP asking for your feedback

Dec 10, 2020 | 8:16 AM

The Rocky Mountain House RCMP Detachment recently sent out a call for community feedback from the areas of Rocky, Caroline, Leslieville, Nordegg, O’Chiese, Sunchild, Big Horn and Clearwater County.

Staff Sergeant Carl Dinsdale is asking citizens within those communities to send in any and all comments and concerns on any policing issues they’ve had.

What would normally be an open Town Hall Meeting has been changed to a mail-in format due to the pandemic.

The RCMP will be accepting all responses between the dates of January 11, up until January 28.

An individual can either physically mail in their comments to Rocky Mtn House RCMP, 4428- 45th Street, Rocky Mountain House, AB T4T 1P3, or they can email KRMHcommunityfeedback@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.

In February, S/Sgt. Dinsdale intends to respond to the top issues and concerns and publish them on community web pages and local social media.

S/Sgt. Dinsdale had attended the Clearwater County Council meeting on September 8 where he outlined current goals of the RCMP and crime activity trends in the community.

Anyone wishing to view the presentation can find it here.
