Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre hires new CEO

Dec 9, 2020 | 3:09 PM

The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre (CAPCC) is pleased to announce that Lisa Smith is the new Executive Director effective December 1, 2020.

Lisa has been with the CAPCC for the past five years in the role of Director of Operations and brings not only the internal operations knowledge to her new role but also experience as an Executive Director with another local non-profit before coming to us. The Board of Directors is confident that she and her team will take the CAPCC to the next level of growth.

The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank Anne Waddell for her nine years of service as the Executive Director. Her dedication, enthusiasm and faith has seen the Care Centre grow to the thriving, busy and successful community service that it is today.

The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre is a registered charity dedicated to upholding the sanctity of all human life. The Centre opened its doors in 1988 and, through the generosity of uncountable small and large donations, now operates out of a 13,000 sq ft building in downtown Red Deer along with three Satellite offices in Olds, Rocky Mountain House and Drumheller.
