two $20,000 grants up for grabs

The Big Future Innovation Grant launches province-wide

The Big Future Innovation Grant, a grant created for innovative small businesses, has launched across the province, inviting Alberta-based small business owners and entrepreneurs to apply to win one of two $20,000 grants to put towards their business’ financial future.

The initiative is put on by Alberta Central, the central banking facility for the province’s credit unions. Alberta Central, alongside its member credit unions, knows and appreciates the value of small businesses and wants to support their continued growth and innovation.

Especially in these difficult times, small businesses deserve a boost to alleviate the many burdens created by COVID-19, Alberta Central says.

“Given the current state of the economy due to the ongoing pandemic, many small businesses are struggling to stay afloat,” said Ian Burns, President and CEO of Alberta Central. “The Big Future Innovation Grant was created to celebrate innovative small businesses in our province and support them with their continued growth during this challenging time.”
