Crash involving stolen SUV in Innisfail leads to charges

Charges have been laid following a head-on crash in Innisfail involving a stolen vehicle.

Innisfail RCMP say the collision between a car and SUV on Lakewood Drive happened just after 8:30 a.m. on Nov.6.

Police say the driver of the car suffered minor injuries and the driver of the SUV was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

RCMP determined that the SUV was stolen earlier out of Red Deer.

Jordan Kyle Glasgow, 20, the driver of the SUV, is charged with possession of stolen property, operation of a vehicle while prohibited, fail to comply with an undertaking condition and fail to comply with a probation order (two counts), as well as two charges under the Traffic Safety Act.
