Reception: First Friday Red Deer August 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We are grateful to Triumph Roland Plaza for making this space available to us as a pop-up space to host this exhibition. The gallery will be open 1 to 4 p.m. on Mondays & Fridays and 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays to coincide with the Downtown Market.

Description: Our neighbour to the west, Sylvan Lake, has long been a magnet for Albertans and other visitors to its long sandy beach. Noted artist, David More, has captured the essence of the crowds that are attracted to this beautiful shoreline through a series of large colourful paintings. It is easy to imagine you are one in this sea of colour, noise and smells that is Sylvan Lake in the summer.
