Municipal Policing fees for service resumes Monday
In alignment with stage 2 of the provincial government relaunch, The City of Red Deer says Municipal Policing Services will resume fee collection for services including criminal record checks, vulnerable sector check, fingerprinting and false alarm calls effective Monday, July 6.
On March 17, the front counter of the downtown RCMP detachment closed to the public, and fees for services were temporarily suspended.
Services provided by Municipal Policing Services, including criminal record checks, vulnerable sector checks, and fingerprinting continue to be offered in a modified way to ensure public health orders of physical distancing and enhanced sanitization can be met.
While the front counter remains closed, these services continue to be offered, however the public is asked to contact the detachment first by calling 403-343-5575 or emailing kreddeer@rcmp-grc.gc.ca instead of dropping in.
