Alberta updates COVID-19 numbers for July 3

Alberta has reported another 57 cases of COVID-19 while the number of active cases in the province has risen by 30 to 572.

Friday’s updated numbers from the province show 7,532 people in Alberta have now recovered from the novel coronavirus.

No new deaths were reported as Alberta’s fatality count from COVID-19 remains 155.

As of Friday there were 42 Albertans in hospital because of the virus, including nine in intensive care.
