Red Deer back to no active cases of COVID-19

There are once again no active cases of COVID-19 in Red Deer.

The latest numbers from the province released Wednesday afternoon show the lone active case of the novel coronavirus in our city has now recovered.

Alberta has confirmed 44 new cases of COVID-19 since Tuesday, while performing more than 6,500 tests.

In the past 24 hours, 38 Albertans have recovered from the virus.

There are now 538 active cases and 7,134 recovered ones across the province.

The number of deaths remains at 153, and the number of hospitalizations and people in the ICU are 36 and seven, respectively.

The above numbers are from alberta.ca, based on updates on June 24.

The geospatial map shows figures to the β€œend of day June 23.”
