Alberta updates COVID-19 numbers for June 16

The Government of Alberta has released its report on COVID-19 for Tuesday, June 16.
Another 35 new cases were confirmed across the province, bringing the total to 7,482.
Of those, 449 cases are still active, an increase of nine from Monday, while 6,882 people have recovered.
The province’s Central Zone held steady on Tuesday with two active cases and 88 overall. One of the active cases is in Red Deer, which has also seen 34 recoveries out of 35 confirmed cases of the virus.
