Alberta officials share COVID-19 update for June 8

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health and other officials will give an update on the COVID-19 situation in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw will speak at a media conference scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. (Monday, June 8). You can watch it live below once it begins.

Over the weekend Alberta reported a rise in the number of active COVID-19 cases in the province for the first time since late April (for a total of 366 active cases).

As of Saturday there remained no active cases in Red Deer and the Central zone.
