May 28

8:00 am – Drayton valley – 53 Avenue – 911 abandoned call, female advised that she needs to get ahold of Child and Family Services. Members attended and spoke with the caller. No issues. Caller had been using Meth earlier.

10:04 AM – Drayton Valley – Drayton Valley Ford – Complainant calling to report a female, blonde wearing shorts, is doing meth on the side of the road. Female is yelling at people driving by. Members attended and located known female who was arrested for causing a disturbance. Held until sober.

11:41 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Complainant reporting they found possibly stolen copper wire near the dog park. Member attended, wire seized.

12:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting littering. Driver in a dirty red 2007 F-350 crew cab threw garbage out the window. Member patrolled area, vehicle not located.

12:41 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Complainant called 911 to report they found a large hunting knife on a post by the bushes. Member attended and seized the knife.

1:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a hit and run to their black 2012 GMC 3500. Damage to the bumper.

2:02 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Warning issued to driver for lack of mudguard and for operation of vehicle with after marked window glazing.

2:40 pm – Drayton Valley – Carlton East – Complainant reporting disturbance. Members attended, one male arrested for causing a disturbance. Held and released when sober.

4:14 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a hit and run to their 2017 white and gold Ford Escape sometime over the past 2 days.

6:02 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 759 – Members on patrol observed a dispute in a vehicle. Vehicle stopped. Male arrested and charged with assault. A search of the vehicle produced a large amount of Fentanyl. 38-year-old Blair MacNeil charged with Assault, Possession for the purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Methamphetamine, and possession of cocaine along with Mischief under $5000.

7:02 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle with damage near the ball diamonds. Vehicle is a car. Member attended, vehicle had left the area prior to attendance.

11:16 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle drove up the alley. Occupants had flashlights and were looking into peoples’ backyards. Vehicle is a blue jeep or SUV. Member attended area and made patrols but vehicle not located.

May 29

1:13 am – Drayton Valley – 45 Street – Complainant reporting a break and enter to garage. Complainant heard alarms going off and observed a male in a light-colored hoody carrying a backpack and case of Pepsi leaving their garage headed towards the hospital. Complainant advised that their 2002 Brown Chevy ¾ ton had been broken into and damage to the door handle. Inside had been gone through. Member attended, door to garage had been left unlocked. Member patrolled area with negative results.

2:31 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant reporting an assault. Members attended and located complainant who advised they got into a fight with their sister. Both had been drinking.

2:39 AM – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant reporting alarms going off at store below. Members attended, alarm off, no damage, all secure. Owner advised false alarm.

7:15 AM – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of their 1995 Red Ford F-250 with yellow Suzuki quad in the back. Vehicle later recovered in Edson. Quad is still outstanding.

8:52 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting someone broke into the OK Tire lot and attempted to steal a White 2500 Chevrolet Truck. Truck had been stolen previously and was there to get fixed.

9:45 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Complainant reporting vandalism to their vehicle while in Calgary.

10:16 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Commercial hold up alarm going off. Construction company had advised they had accidentally triggered the alarm.

10:39 am – Brazeau County – Complainant advised that while they were driving on Hwy 22 they struck a deer.

12:14 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 39 – Complainant reporting a white gravel truck that is not tarped is spewing rocks everywhere.

12:17 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting theft and threats. Cell phone, wheel wrench, shovel, and extension cord were stolen over a month ago. Complainant knows who the suspect is and threatened them if they do not return items. Members attended and spoke with all parties. No evidence that they stole anything from complainant. Complainant was later arrested, very high on drugs and alcohol.

12:52 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Complainant reporting male picking through the garbage in the alley. Male is wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and is on a bicycle. Members attended and located known male going through the garbage picking up bottles.

1:01 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting known male is stealing gravel from oil rig site. Complainant does not want charges but wants suspect spoken to. Members spoke with male and advised them to return gravel.

1:41 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant advised suspicious person came into the apartment building. Members attended and located known female who left when asked to.

3:13 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Complainant reporting a dispute between a male and a female. Members attended and located subjects arguing on the front porch. Female known to be on conditions not to consume alcohol. Female was intoxicated. Female arrested for breach of conditions and brought back to detachment. Released when sober.

4:36 pm – Brazeau County – Elk River Road – Complainant advised they were rafting and tipped. Lost their 12 gauge shotgun.

6:41 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting an erratic driver in a white pickup truck almost ran complainant off the road. Member contacted the registered owner of the vehicle who advised their son was driving and would speak with them.

8:33 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting an abandoned vehicle south of Hwy 22. Vehicle is a red Dodge Journey. Member attended, no damage or reports of theft. Member called the registered owner who advised they would move the vehicle.

8:41 pm – Drayton Valley – 48 A Avenue – Complainant reporting someone walked through their yard yesterday morning. Surveillance video shows male who appears to be looking for a dog. Suspect shown on video later returning with a dog.

9:47 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting mother took their daughter and went southbound on Hwy 22. Both parties attended detachment where members mediated dispute. Child and Family Services contacted. Complainant was much too aggressive to keep child that night.

10:10 pm – Drayton Valley – Centre Court Trailer Court – Complainant requesting a welfare check on male. Has been trying to contact male and has been unable to. Members attended residence, male came out, however refused to speak with members. Members called complainant back to advise male was fine.

10:16 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting youth gathering in the park. Grey Chevrolet car and black pickup were causing a disturbance. Members attended and spoke with youth about their behaviour.

10:35 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting suspicious persons who are attempting to steal bikes. Male is sitting at the bike rack, female appears to be checking out vehicles. Members attended, bike belonged to male. Female is staying at MAT program.

May 30

12:57 am – Drayton Valley – 43 Avenue – Complainant reporting an erratic driver in a blue CRV. Vehicle is swerving all over the road without headlights. Members located vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Medical issue, non-emergency.

2:02 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop and given a warning for not having a properly located mudguard.

2:32 am – Drayton Valley – Centre Court Trailer Court – Complainant reporting a missing person. Request to attempt to locate. Complainant was quite intoxicated and advised they hadn’t spoken to brother in 20 years. Members had already located male who had refused to speak with members, however was fine.

3:22 am – Drayton Valley – 41 A Avenue – Complainant reporting suspicious males on bikes. Members patrolled the area with negative results.

7:28 am – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – Complainant reporting two individuals on bikes at the Co-op gas station. Male and female. Members attended and attempted to locate suspicious persons who had left prior to arrival.

8:57 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious female is walking on 50 Street, walking and swearing at vehicles. Members attended and located known female who was once again arrested and taken to the detachment to sober up.

9:15 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant calling to report their neighbour’s front door is wide open. Member attended, no one home, door not damaged. Door secured. Appears it had blown open.

12:17 pm – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant reporting a red Chevrolet Silverado is abandoned on the west side of HW Pickup School. Member attended location and located vehicle stuck on lease site. Member attempted to contact the registered owner with negative results.

2:36 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting male attended store covered in blood, bought a Slushiel, and then walked north. Male has brown hair, green t-shirt wearing sunglasses. Blood on left arm. Members attended.

4:30 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting male assaulted them. Advised they were hanging out at Brazeau Dam when male showed up and started assaulting them. Further discussion showed that it was a consensual fight.

6:54 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 –Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Warning issued.

8:23 pm – Drayton Valley – Centre Court Trailer Court – Complainant reporting a verbal argument. Four homeless persons are arguing in the alley, one of them has a set of handlebars and is attempting to hit one of the others. Members attended and spoke with complainant who advised they heard yelling and swearing in the alley and went over to see what was up. Female got mad at complainant and was holding a bike handlebar. Member located female suspect who advised that the argument was over the garbage.

9:28 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting a male is riding a white dirt bike near the Omniplex. Member attended and did not locate any dirt bike. Further patrols were negative.

10:18 pm – O’Chiese Reserve – Members requested to assist Rocky Mountain House with locating a missing person. Male located and returned home.

10:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Warning issued.

10:59 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Complainant reporting ex is threatening to come to their house. Suspect has been observed driving past residence several times today. Ex is there now and is refusing to leave. Members attended and spoke with all parties. Ex advised to leave and not return.

11:08 pm – Drayton Valley – Country Style Trailer Court – Complainant reporting female in distress. Can overhear a female yelling and screaming. Members attended and spoke with complainant who advised that they heard one scream then silence. Members conducted neighbourhood inquiries. A family admitted to playing video games and stated that they were likely a little loud. No other information.

May 31

12:59 am – Drayton Valley – 48 Street – Complainant reporting loud noise. 2 or 3 persons in the park are lighting sparklers and making noise. Members attended and located persons who agreed to leave.

1:54 am – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting excessive noise. One of the tenants is having a campfire and playing music from their vehicle. Members attended and requested they keep it down. Member attended twice as the music was still playing however not as loud. Member requested they shut the music off.

11:01 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting a person is laying in the alley by the post office. Members attended and located known female who was sleeping on top of cardboard by the garbage. Female given courtesy ride to MAT program.

10:45 am – 47 Street – Complainant was conducting patrols when they observed a vehicle which when queries were conducted came back as stolen. Known male attended location and advised they had recently bought the vehicle and provided receipt.

2:01 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting they observed a male exit the grocery store and then snuck behind a vehicle and unloaded their red car placing cans in a black bag. Smaller female was with male. Member attended and located known female and male. Male admitted to taking some canned food as they could not afford anything.

3:01 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting they lost a 14-year-old male black and white Chihuahua near the Brazeau Dam. Dog located shortly after.

5:33 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. A black Chevrolet Equinox is parked in the lot. Driver advised they had broken down. Male had left the window open on the vehicle and the keys inside. When they returned the licence plate and battery were stolen. Another vehicle was observed boosting another vehicle. Member attended, all parties contacted. Nothing stolen.

6:47 pm – Drayton Valley – 43 Avenue – Complainant reporting they had been living with a friend and moved out but had left some makeup behind. Friend now refusing to give makeup back.

6:52 pm – Brazeau County – Twp Rd 482 – 911 call of an unknown situation. Complainant reporting someone is taking advantage of them and taking their money. Suspect has left the residence now. Complainant says suspect has been drinking since this morning. Complainant has locked all their doors.

7:14 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious male was bothering the cashier. Member attended and spoke with known male who left immediately when asked to. Member spoke with cashier who advised that the male comes in often and although they find him somewhat odd does not find him threatening.

June 1

3:24 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant reporting intoxicated persons in vehicles are harassing them. A green and white Ford F-150 and a small silver car are harassing them and their friends. Members patrolled the area with negative results.

9:37 am – Brazeau County – RR 73 – Complainant calling to report a suspicious truck in the field by HW Pickup School. Second call regarding this vehicle. Vehicle has not been reported stolen.

11:09 am – Drayton Valley – Little Lions Park – Complainant reporting 3 – 4 males are fighting and smoking something. Members attended and located known males. No fighting going on, just enjoying the sun.

11:55 am – Drayton Valley – IGA parking lot – Complainant reporting a theft from donation bins. Ongoing issue.

2:52 pm – Drayton Valley – EconoRest – Complainant reporting suspicious white GMC at the Econorest. No licence plate. Members attended and located the vehicle, nothing criminal.

3:34 pm – Drayton Valley – Mackenzie Ave – Complainant calling to report ex parked outside their house last year and hacked their router. Ex has access to i-tunes and other online accounts.

4:46 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant reporting known female is walking down the alley yelling and screaming and hitting vehicles. Members attended and arrested female who was taken to cells and released when sober.

5:48 pm – Drayton Valley – McDonalds – Complainant reporting an intoxicated male with a rock is trying to break into the shed behind McDonalds. Members attended and located known male who advised they had found a lawnmower blade and was trying to stuff it under the shed. Did not attempt to get into the shed.

6:50 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant came to detachment to advise they got into an argument with their partner. Argument escalated, complainant took partner’s phone and partner threw a screwdriver through the back window of truck.

8:09 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issues a ticket for speeding.

8:34 pm – Brazeau County – Golf course – Complainant reporting a small adult wearing a black onesie with a cowboy hat is crouched down under the sign. Members attended and located female who advised they were walking to town. Friend came and picked her up.

8:32 pm – Drayton Valley –55 Avenue – Member on patrol observed a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign. Traffic stop conducted and driver issued with ticket.

9:25 pm – Brazeau County – RR 72 – Complainant calling to report a family dispute. 16-year-old daughter is throwing items at mother. Lots of yelling in background. Members attended, family did not wish to pursue charges.

10:03 pm – Drayton Valley – Country Style Trailer Court – Complainant reporting a suspicious male with a knife on a mountain bike. Complainant advised they observed the male scoping out vehicles. Members attended. Male was looking for their phone which they lost earlier in the day while they were looking for a dog.

10:26 pm – Drayton Valley – Lions West Park – Complainant called 911 to report underage drinking and a bonfire. Vehicles are coming and going. Members attended, no underage persons drinking. Public are reminded that the consumption of alcohol in public places is prohibited and may result in tickets being issued.

11:31 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting vehicles stunting in the parking lot. Members made multiple patrols in the area, all vehicles were gone.

11:44 pm – Drayton Valley – Centre Court Trailer court – Complainant reporting there are several persons around and in one of the trailers. There is not supposed to be anyone in it. Members attended, no one around.

June 2

5:54 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting known female has been hanging around and harassing them.

8:02 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a theft of 14,000 litres of diesel fuel and 50 litres of gas, Fill rite fuel pump and damage to a 2007 Dodge Ram overnight at construction site.

11:48 am – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant calling to report known female is refusing to leave the MAT program after they were banned for 24 hours. Members attended and spoke with all persons. Female left without incident.

11:56 am – Brazeau County – RR 72 – Alarm company advising of a burglary alarm. Members attended and found the side door of the garage and back door of the residence insecure. Members checked inside both areas, no signs of forced entry.

1:07 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Warning issued to driver for speeding.

1:20 pm – Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Complainant reporting known female is banging on vehicles and scaring the kids in the area. Member attended and located known female who was arrested for disturbance then held until sober.

1:50 pm – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant reporting an abandoned vehicle in the bush near HW Pickup School. Third complaint received on this vehicle. Vehicle is not stolen.

2:43 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant reporting an intoxicated male in the yard, yelling and screaming, and threatening to punch people. Members attended and arrested male for causing a disturbance. Taken back to the detachment and released when sober.

4:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.

4:56 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop for expired vehicle registration. Member identified both driver and passenger. Passenger on no-contact order with driver. Passenger arrested and held for bail hearing.

5:47 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Complainant reporting an abandoned white Dodge Ram has been parked in the lot for the past week.

6:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Complainant reporting they were on the back deck of their house when friends ex came over and started a verbal argument. Ex was asked to leave, however as they were leaving they punched the truck mirror. Members attended. Ex had already left. Members located ex who was arrested and placed on conditions of no contact.

6:30 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Members on patrol in area due to recent complaints about stunting in the parking lot. Traffic stop conducted and driver charged with stunting. $567 dollar fine.

June 3

7:36 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant attended detachment to report they lost their licence plate while driving.

7:44 am – Drayton Valley – Kal Tire – Alarm company reporting burglary alarm. Members attended, alarm cancelled. False.

8:42 am – Brazeau County – Complainant calling to report a family dispute. Ongoing issue between parents and daughter. Member attended and mediated issue.

11:55 am – Drayton Valley – Power Centre Blvd – Complainant calling to report a hit and run while parked in the Walmart parking lot. Damage to their rental 2019 white Hyundai Elantra on the lower passenger side.

3:12 pm – Drayton Valley – 58 Street – Complainant reporting they were at the dog park today and saw a large man with a fluffy orange dog. As soon as the complainant arrived, the male put his dog on the leash. The complainant’s dog ran over to sniff the other dog and as it was returning to the owner, the man kicked their dog in the butt. Words were exchanged.

4:04 pm – Drayton Valley – St. Anthony’s School – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop as they observed the driver on their cell phone. Violation ticket issued to the driver of the vehicle.

4:13 pm – Drayton Valley – Canadian Tire – Complainant reporting a fraud.

10:10 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting a possible intoxicated driver. Members patrolled area with negative results.
