Nominations for the 2020 Business of the Year Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2020 Business of the Year Awards, organized by the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce and held annually in conjunction with Small Business Week.

The awards are presented in five categories to exceptional businesses within the Red Deer area, the Chamber says in a release. All companies, Chamber members and non-members, are eligible for nomination for an award in their respective category.

“2020 will undoubtedly go down in Alberta’s history as one of the most difficult years ever to be in business,” says Chamber CEO Rick More. “It Is for this reason we are excited to once again highlight and celebrate the resiliency, the adaptability, the ingenuity and the generosity of our local business community.”

The Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the awards in the following categories: 1-10 employees, 11-20 employees, 21+ employees, Young Entrepreneur and Non-Profit.

Nominations can be submitted from the online nominations form. The deadline for application submission is July 24 at 4:30 p.m.
