Snowbirds ‘Operation Inspiration’ comes to Red Deer, Rocky Mountain House Saturday morning

The Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds will be in our area Saturday morning.

The famed aerobatics team is on a cross-country tour, dubbed Operation Inspiration, aimed at boosting morale as Canadians continue to struggle with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Snowbirds will be departing Edmonton at approx. 9:30 a.m. Saturday and will fly over Red Deer before heading to Rocky Mountain House, where they expect to touch down at around 10:30 a.m.

Observers are encouraged to stay at home and follow physical distancing guidelines while observing the flyovers.
