Alberta officials share COVID-19 update for May 8

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health and other officials will give an update on the COVID-19 situation in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw will speak at a media conference scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. (Friday, May 8). You can watch it live below.

Alberta reported 54 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the total to 6,017.

The number of cases in the Central zone increased by two, both in Sylvan Lake, for a total of 94.
