COVID-19 update for april 11

More than 75,000 tests completed in Alberta, now 1,569 cases and 40 deaths

Alberta has recorded another 69 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, putting the province up to 1,569 since its first reported case on March 6.

There was also one additional death, pushing Alberta to 40.

Recoveries are also up to 774, with more than 75,000 tests having been completed.

As for Central Zone, there have been no new cases reported since April 7, leaving the region at 72.

In Red Deer, there are now 13 active cases, and 19 people who have recovered, a net change of three since Friday.

In Red Deer North, the numbers are three active and four recovered, Red Deer Southwest has zero active and four recovered, and Red Deer East is at 10 active and 11 recovered.

Red Deer County has six active and six recovered cases. Innisfail remains at one case, which has recovered, and Lacombe has two cases, both having recovered.
