Blackfalds cancels public events through June 1

The Town of Blackfalds announced Monday it has cancelled all public events in the community through June 1 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
A list of the events affected by the decision is posted on the town’s website.
As well, the hours of operation at the Blackfalds Transfer Station hours of operation have changed to 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m Monday to Friday. It will be closed for the Easter Long Weekend (April 10-13 inclusive).
Starting April 6 until further notice, BOLT Transit will not be offering the Express route in the evenings. BOLT will not be running on Good Friday (April 10) or Easter Monday (April 13). (See temporary bus schedule)
