Mobile blood clinic in Rimbey cancelled, donors can go to Red Deer

Canadian Blood Services is advising Red Deer area donors that it has cancelled the mobile donor centre on April 6 at the Peter Lougheed Community Centre (5109 54 Street, Rimbey).

In order to continue meeting the ongoing need for blood and blood products, hours have been expanded at the Red Deer donor centre for April 6; it will be open from 3-7 p.m.

Rimbey residents who are feeling well, and are interested in donating blood, can book an appointment on April 6 at the Red Deer donor centre (#5 5020 68 Street, Red Deer).

Appointments can be booked by downloading the Give Blood app, calling 1-888-2-DONATE (1-888-236-6283), or by booking online at blood.ca.
