CrossRoads Church changing up Sunday Services to due COVID-19

Mar 14, 2020 | 10:12 PM

Effective Sunday, March 15th, CrossRoads Church has decided to move all three of its Sunday services to their online platform until further notice. In response to growing risk of the COVID-19 situation and the recommendations of the Government of Alberta and Alberta Health Services regarding public gatherings our church leadership has decided that it is in the best interest of its congregation, staff and the community at large to move in this direction.

This decision has not been made lightly. CrossRoads Church is committed to worshipping Jesus in large gatherings and we desire to be a welcoming place for any and all who come. However, we care deeply about the whole person and in light of COVID-19 and the exemption for places of worship for public gatherings we feel taking these precautions will help to reduce the risks and ensure the health and safety for our community at this time.

Each Sunday, Pastor Dan Cochrane will lead the congregation online on their website at www.CrossRoadsChurch.ca and their page on Facebook at CrossRoads Church. Congregants will be able to LiveStream the weekly sermon in the comfort and safety of their own home. Each service will be recorded and available online afterwards.

Beyond Sunday services CrossRoads Church hosts numerous ministry groups and events all week. These groups and events may continue but that will be determined on a case-by-case scenario depending on the size of the gathering. Ongoing updates will be posted on their website and on their Facebook page.
