Canyon hosting national jr. moguls championships

Red Deer’s Canyon Ski Resort is playing host to the 2020 Canadian Jr. Championships for moguls this weekend (March 13-15.).

Skiiers from across the country will compete at the event with hopes of winning a national title.

Athletes will be competing in three events, including an ariel event which will go on Friday, a mogul event Saturday and the dual mogul event on Sunday.

Training for the events is taking place today and Thursday.

The Canadian Jr. Championships for Slopestyle, Halfpipe and Big Air will be happening next weekend in Stoneham, Quebec.
