Trenville Elks hosting Gowns for Grads event this month in Elnora

A central Alberta organization wants to ensure those getting their diplomas and attending prom this spring are able to do so in style.

The Trenville Royal Purple Elks #248 are excited to put on their Gowns for Grads event Feb. 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., respectively.

It is happening at the Elnora Community Hall (407 2nd Avenue, Elnora).

The Elks hope to have hundreds of gowns, as well as suits and shoes available completely free of charge. At their last event in October, 40 dresses were given away.
