Drayton Valley RCMP report: Dec. 6-Dec. 12

December 6

10:19 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant attended detachment to report someone broke into the fenced yard overnight. The fence was cut and once inside they broke the door handle on a vehicle and stole some stereo speakers.

1:15 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant reporting known female keeps on going into the bathroom. Members attended and located female who appeared to have a swollen foot and a cut. Members provided a ride to the hospital.

4:43 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Complainant reporting unwanted male is wondering around and possibly stealing shoes and kicking the walls. Members attended and spoke with known male who was trying to dry their shoes.

December 7

4:26 am – Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Complainant reporting their residence was just broken into. Entry made through a sliding window. Members attended and followed footprints to the location of a male and female who were both arrested. Pamela Olson, 30, was arrested and charged with theft under and possession of crystal meth.

10:18 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Custody dispute. Complainant advised that they were supposed to have their daughter today, however ex will not open door. Member attended, child access disagreement, both parties were advised to obtain a child custody agreement in court.

11:51 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting vandalism to rear passenger window and theft of debit cards

6:26 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant called to advise they feel they may hurt themselves. Member attended and provided first aid until EMS arrived to take to hospital.

December 8

2:41 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Members conducting a check stop. Driver blew a caution when breath test administered. 3 day driving suspension and vehicle seized.

5:32 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of Cat Skidsteer from parking lot overnight.

8:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant calling to advise they have video footage of a fight earlier today which occurred in front of building. Member attended, suspects identified as known male and female. Argument between persons as to who is to provide maintenance.

December 9

7:42 am – Brazeau County – Landfill – Complainant reporting a break and enter to landfill sometime overnight. Batteries were stolen from a building along with a work radio.

9:09 am – Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of white 2005 GMC Sierra half tonne truck sometime overnight.

10:47 am – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of light bar off their 2010 Ford F150. Light bar is a black 2 feet wide by 8.5” high.

1:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Complainant reporting their 2016 silver Jeep Cherokee had been gone through overnight. Childs snowboard and dirt bike gear stolen from vehicle.

7:15 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting an insecure premises. Complainant is on site to work on ATM and left keys in room, door locked behind him. Key holder attended to assist.

December 10

2:58 am – Drayton Valley – Two females were seen leaving the Coach Motel. Caroline Labonte, 41, arrested and charged with possession of break in instruments as well as failure to comply with conditions.

11:40 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting known male was trespassing. Members attended and spoke with male who was advised not to return.

12:27 pm – Drayton Valley – Royal Bank – Complainant reporting mischief to the vestibule of the bank. Significant damage to heaters, walls and windows.

12:49 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting they located a burnt out vehicle overnight. Member attended, vehicle had been reported stolen earlier.

December 11

9:45 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Complainant provided SIN number for an online job with TD bank, who confirmed this was a scam.

12:12 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting theft of batteries from lease site.

3:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 57 Street – Complainant reporting the lock and chain missing from gate. When they went to use their truck, they found the dash and ignition smashed. The battery was dead which is why it could not be started.

7:49 pm – Brazeau County – Request from Brazeau County Peace officer for assistance. Male is in vehicle and is on conditions not to be in a vehicle without the registered owner. Members attended and arrested male for Breach of Recognizance. Search of vehicle revealed 11 unopened cartons of illegal cigarettes and 40 packs of unopened cigarettes.

11:14 pm – Brazeau County – Brazeau County Peace Officer had vehicle stopped. Occupant is breaching curfew conditions. Members attended and arrested 35-year-old Garrett McConnell. McConnell held for bail hearing.

11:38 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant attended detachment to advise they had been breaching their conditions with ex. Member noted injuries and complainant advised their ex had done it. Members had EMS attend then provided courtesy ride. Male arrested for assault with weapon.,

December 12

3:51 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Commercial Business alarm. Members attended, front door broken in.
