High school football year-end award winners for 2019

The Central Alberta High School Football League honoured its best of the year at a recent banquet in Red Deer.

Will Moir of the Lindsay Thurber Raiders took home top honours as the City Division MVP for 2019.

Zach Schwab of the Lacombe Rams was named Offensive MVP while Joel DeMale of the Hunting Hills Lightning took Defensive MVP honours.

Rookie of the Year was Grayson Chabot of the Notre Dame Cougars.

Adam Fort of the Lightning was named Top Lineman.

And Garnet Rambaut was honoured with the Founder’s Award.

Wyatt Matson of the Camrose Trojans was named Rookie of the Year.

Rookie of the Year was Ardan Kasha of the Lakers.

Cole Nichols of Stettler and Connor Stiles of Ponoka shared the Special Teams Player of the year award.
