Police searching for two suspects following Olds break and enter

Nov 13, 2019 | 7:30 AM

Olds RCMP are looking for two suspects following a break and enter at a nearby car dealership early Monday morning.

At approximately 3:26 a.m. Nov. 11, Mounties received a complaint of a break and enter in progress at the Mountain View Dodge Dealership east of Olds.

Live monitored surveillance cameras captured images of two suspects acting suspiciously in the area of the fenced lot and police were notified of the activity.

The two individuals are then said to have used a newer model black Ford F250 or F350 dually truck and tow ropes to pull down a portion of the fence.

The passenger exited the vehicle and ran into the dealership lot. However, as police arrived on scene, the suspects fled in the truck.

No property appears to have been stolen as a result of the incident.

RCMP say the driver of the truck was wearing dark clothing, while the passenger was wearing white clothing, a balaclava and gloves.

Police are continuing their investigation and are requesting anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Olds RCMP at 403-556-3323.
