17th annual golf tourney raises $50,000 for local charities

The Young Guns Charity Golf committee has announced this year’s fundraising total following the 17th annual golf tournament.
The tourney generated $50,000, all of which will go to 21 charitable organizations who do work within central Alberta.
This year’s recipients are:
- Calgary Flames Foundation
- Stollery Children’s Hospital
- Sylvan Lake Tigers
- Red Deer Minor Hockey
- Sylvan Lake Minor Hockey
- Mustard Seed
- Red Deer Food Bank
- Sylvan Lake Food Bank
- Kidsport Sylvan Lake
- Kidsport Red Deer
- Innisfail Minor Hockey
- Eckville School
- Red Deer Hospice Society
- Central Alberta Pregancy Care Centre
- Special Olympics
- The Lending Cupboard
- Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre
- Fox Run School Lunch Program
- Dreams Take Flight
- Big Brothers/Big Sisters
- Vantage Community Services
