More donated a body of his work, spanning his entire career, from the 1970’s to the present.

“We are delighted to present a sample of the body of work that Dave has so generously donated,” says Lorna Johnson, Executive Director. “The exhibition shows how Dave’s work has developed and changed over the years. Perhaps more importantly, it shows his deep love of the Central Alberta landscape and the beautiful gardens that his wife Yvette has created. We are also grateful to Mary-Beth Laviolette, our guest curator, for her generosity and expertise in developing this project.”

Born in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1947, raised and educated in Red Deer, Dave More graduated in painting in 1972 from Calgary’s Alberta College of Art (Alberta University of the Arts).
