Drayton Valley RCMP Report: Sept. 19-26

September 19

8:36 am – Drayton Valley – Boston Pizza – Complainant reporting a break and enter to their vehicle overnight. Ford F150 canopy was broken into. Only the canopy was entered. Work equipment was taken.

8:39 am – Parkland County – Hwy 759 – Complainant reporting a 2 vehicle motor vehicle accident. One person taken to hospital with minor injuries. Fog was a factor.

9:27 am – Drayton Valley – Foxwood Inn – Complainant reporting theft from their truck overnight. Black Ford F350 was entered with the assistance of a pry bar. Tools in a red Huskey tool bag. Milwaukee power tools, a black spill kit bag and snap on tool bag, along with crescent wrenches and pipe wrenches.

September 20

7:57 pm – Brazeau County – RR 135A – Complainant reporting their truck was stuck in the mud and didn’t know where they were. Member drove out to the RR, person and vehicle not located. Member followed up with complainant later on and all was fine.

8:41 pm – Drayton Valley – Request to assist EMS with a suicidal female. Members attended, female taken to Drayton Valley Hospital.

September 21

4:50 am – Rocky Rapids – RCMP in British Columbia requested members attend address in Rocky Rapids to provide warning to resident to stop contact with relative in British Columbia.

7:21 am – Drayton Valley – DV Rentals – Complainant reporting a Black Dodge pickup is in the back alley with the hood up and ignition punched out. Member attended, vehicle had been stolen from Red Deer previously.

8:22 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a toolbox which was chained to a pumpjack was stolen sometime overnight.

10:09 am – Tomahawk Transfer Station – Complainant reporting a break and enter to the Tomahawk waste transfer station. Grinder was used to cut the gate.

7:11 pm – Drayton Valley – Oil Country Taphouse – Complainant reporting their black F350 was stolen from parking lot.

September 22

12:12 am – Drayton Valley – Derrick Lounge – Complainant advising male is barred from location, however was in the previous night and threatened the bouncers. The male has now come back and refusing to leave. Members attended, two males were subsequently arrested for public intoxication and taken to cells.

6:54 am – Drayton Valley – Seasons Retirement – Complainant reporting theft of their 2012 dark red Jeep Grande Cherokee sometime over night. Wallet was in vehicle.

9:42 PM – Brazeau County – Hwy 621 – Complainant reporting a black Chevrolet truck is weaving all over the road. Member attended area, patrols made, licence plate provided did not match vehicle description. Vehicle not located.

September 23

6:52 am – Drayton Valley – Home Away Inn – Complainant reporting theft from their red 2009 Chev Silverado overnight. Tool kit and bag full of safety tickets stolen. Window broken to gain access.

7:52 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 39 – Several calls received regarding a motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles. Members attended. Fire and EMS assisted. One person taken to hospital with minor injuries.

2:09 pm – Lodgepole – Complainant reporting theft from lease site on Saturday night. Air compressor taken. Cables cut.

4:45 pm – Drayton Valley – Anytime Fitness – Complainant calling to report their black brindle French bulldog was stolen from their vehicle. Window had been left partially open. Collar left behind.

6:01 pm – Brazeau County – Birchwood Village Greens – Complainant reporting known male had tried to gain entry into their house while they were not home. Security footage clearly shows same. Charges pending.

6:52 pm – Drayton Valley – Pembina River Garden Centre – Complainant reporting a break and enter to outside compound. Fence has been cut and a fork lift tampered with.

September 24

8:00 pm – Tomahawk area – Complainant reporting they were trying to pass a truck northbound on the Berrymore Bridge when he was cut off by truck in front of them. Caused driver to drive into the guard rail causing damage to vehicle

September 25

1:27 am – Drayton Valley = 56 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious damage to property. White pickup came crashing through the gate then took off northbound. White crewcab with headache rack. Member attended and patrolled area, vehicle not located.

7:27 am – Drayton Valley – Norette Oilfield services called to report someone went through several trucks in their fenced yard. Nothing taken.

7:33 am – Drayton Valley – 56 Street – Complainant reporting someone cut the lock on the gate and took a white 2004 Chev crew cab. Related to the vehicle from the incident reported at 1:27 am .

8:43 am – Drayton Valley – 58 Street – Complainant calling to report damage to fence and theft of copper cable. Entry gained by cutting two holes in the fence. Once inside they pried open the side door to a trailer. Second trailer was unlocked.

10:28 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 759 – Fire requesting police assistance with a flat deck truck on fire. Member attended, vehicle had been reported stolen from Breton earlier this morning.

September 26

3:08 am – Drayton Valley – Carlton East – Complainant reporting suspicious persons. Unknown male and female are trying to get into their apartment through the patio door again. Member made patrols, no one located. Similar complaint have been received in the past with negative results.
