Queens and Kings finish first at cross country Grand Prix #2
Running conditions were nearly ideal at Red Deer College for the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Running Room Grand Prix #2. The 20 degree temperature with a slight breeze helped set up the racers for some very impressive performances. Both the RDC Queens and Kings earned first place in front of family and friends.
Paced by Shayla Sklaruk (25:52.98), the Red Deer College Queens took top spot on their home course with 14 team points. Ana Zulic (26:05.50) helped guide the Concordia University Thunder women to second spot with 26 points. With 55 points, the University of Alberta Augustana Vikings captured third spot.
