Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash near Thorsby

One person is in hospital with serious injures after a crash near Thorsby on Saturday.

The collision happened around 12:30 p.m., according to RCMP who responded to the single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.

It happened at the intersection of Hwy 39 and Hwy 622, about five kilometres north of town. Traffic was down to one lane for a couple hours, but has since returned to normal.

The female driver was airlifted by STARS to University of Alberta Hospital.
