HUMANE SOCIETY DONATION

Outpouring of support for Central Alberta Humane Society

INNISFAIL– In their second year of supporting the Central Alberta Humane Society (CAHS), Rifco National Auto Finance proudly presented the Humane Society with a cheque for $27,591.36 after a very successful day of fundraising at the Rifco Charity Golf Classic.

Melissa Devlin, Fund Development Coordinator with CAHS, knows how every dollar counts for organizations like the Humane Society, “This donation couldn’t come at a better time, as we are currently fundraising for new diagnostic equipment for our veterinary clinic to better serve our shelter animals. Almost all animals that come through our doors require a treatment of some kind at our in-shelter clinic, and new equipment will allow us to spot underlying medical conditions and improve safety for our animals during surgery. Funds raised through this wonderful golf tournament will make a huge difference to our animals in care and help support our many community programs as well.”

“It is always a great day when our company and our friends are able to support a worthy cause. The support from our volunteers, sponsors, and donors has been amazing. I am happy that we can assist the Humane Society in their important work.” says Rifco President and CEO, Bill Graham.
